suggestions for restaurant/banquet hall for continuing education seminar in Central Ohio and southern Ohio
I am interested in unique restaurants/banquet centers s to hold seminars for nurses-In past Hartville kitchen (Hartville, Ohio was a very popular setting-sold out every seminar) I am looking around Columbus, Ohio, Dayton-maybe between Cinci and Dayton-also the Indy area. Good food sells seminars!!

What is the size of your group? I have been to professional development seminars at Villa Milano in Columbus. Their theme is always Italian, but the food is very good and a buffet, which a lot of people like. They are very reasonable.
Another Columbus recommendation is Confluence Park, the setting is very pretty, not a cheap place, but the food is very good and they are very accommodating icw vegetarian/vegan guests. Disclaimer - this is a little hard to reach because of the highway access, but the parking is free.
Give some more details on your group size and taste, I go often to seminars in Columbus and can help you figure out what's good here.

After looking at the restaurant you referenced, my suggestions above are probably a little too sophisticated. Why not contact Der Dutchman restaurant in Plain City, Ohio? They do large scale banquets and have a similar menu to the Hartville Kitchen (Amish buffet/family style). Plain City is about 15 min west of Columbus off I-70, very accessible from the highway.

El Meson, south of Dayton, might be a possibility. They certainly have lots of space, but not sure if they could do a seminar. Maybe if it was daytime only. Contact them and see - the food is good, South American/Spanish/Carribean, although not as good as it was before they expanded, IMO.
