Casa Tapas?

We have friends coming who like tapas and I am considering an evening at Casa Tapas. It has been a while since we were there but I remember it as a sophisticated, upscale ambience with pretty good food. Is this still the case? We were thinking also about Pintxo but there will be six of us and it is so small. Should I instead just forget tapas and go with Laloux? Advice?

Pintxo will be able to accommodate you. The two restaurants are roughly the same size...but pintxo is split into two rooms.

I really like casa tapas and pintxo. Pintxo serves main dishes and I believe casa tapas is strictly tapas. 'sophisticated, upscale ambience' is a good description of casa tapas, pintxo is a bit more laid back.

Its a toss up between the two.... but if I was going out tonight I would choose casa tapas. Id probably choose it 6 out of 10 times.

Not in the same area of the city, but maybe you should consider Tapeo? IMHO, it is superior to Casa Tapas, both atmosphere and food-wise.
