    What's the scoop on Piero's?

Their claim to fame is year after year voted Best Italian Restaurant and host to numerous celebrities including the Rat Pack.

We just got back from Vegas last night. For Italian, we went to Bartolotto: it was amazing! The heart of this place is the fresh seafood flown in almost daily from Italy. We had a tasting menu and ended with a simply prepared red snapper with salsa crudo. It was by far the best fish I've ever had in the US.

For a steakhouse, we wavered between Cut, Craftsteak and CarneVino. We had been to CarneVino twice before so were hesitant to go back because we wanted to try something new. In the end we decided on CarneVino and boy am I glad we did! The bistecca Fiorentina was out of this world and the service was great. The manager even came up to our table and welcomed us back and knew the exact date we were there last. We had a great time.

Is Bartolotto the place in the Wynn? Would you consider it a romantic restaurant? I have heard to request and outdoor cabana table, is that correct?

Yes, yes and, yes. Cabanas are not reservable, only requestable. So either tip them well up front or keep your fingers crossed.

bootleggers for italian. bootlegger bistro 7700 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, Nevada - (702) 736-4939. way before mandalay bay if down the strip towards mandalay.

awesome and great prices. minestrone could be dinner alone with some of their out of this world garlic panetti bread served with marinara. homeade italian sausage that is divine and a saturday night show with classic strip performers and pros from all over the world! skip the high end facey strip joints and go back in time to a real italian restaurant that would make sammy and dino proud.

The OP asked for best Italian, that's the only reason I questioned your suggestion.
