  1. We just got back from Vegas last night. For Italian, we went to Bartolotto: it was amazing! The heart of this place is the fresh seafood flown in almost daily from Italy. We had a tasting menu and ended with a simply prepared red snapper with salsa crudo. It was by far the best fish I've ever had in the US.

For a steakhouse, we wavered between Cut, Craftsteak and CarneVino. We had been to CarneVino twice before so were hesitant to go back because we wanted to try something new. In the end we decided on CarneVino and boy am I glad we did! The bistecca Fiorentina was out of this world and the service was great. The manager even came up to our table and welcomed us back and knew the exact date we were there last. We had a great time.

Is Bartolotto the place in the Wynn? Would you consider it a romantic restaurant? I have heard to request and outdoor cabana table, is that correct?

Yes, yes and, yes. Cabanas are not reservable, only requestable. So either tip them well up front or keep your fingers crossed.

The OP asked for best Italian, that's the only reason I questioned your suggestion.

      3. What's the scoop on Piero's?

Their claim to fame is year after year voted Best Italian Restaurant and host to numerous celebrities including the Rat Pack.
