Pre-Broadway Dining - Saturday - Itailian Prefered

Hey All, first time poster, long time reader. Can anyone recommend a a restaurant for a pre-broadway dinner for two. I would prefer somewhere quiet with bonus points for an Itailian spot. We are celebrating a year together and I want this to be special but am on a tight budget. $150 dollars including drinks (probably 2-3 glasses of wine) but I would be willing to push up to 200 if the place really blew me away. No seafood! :-)

Any information that anyone could provide me would be wonderful as I am a complete newbie to NYC.

I just had a great meal at Etcetera Etcetera - quiet, not too pricey, great food. I had goat cheese and red beet stuffed pasta - homemade. It was a good choice in the area.
