Only going to be there 4 nights with the boys golfing...looking for higher end restaurants...any help would be appreciated...in the past have done New York Prime and Ruth Chris consistently...

Are you willing to drive 15 miles to Murrell's Inlet or 25 miles to Pawley's Island. There are better restaurants there. Chespeake House and Chestnut Hill Restaurant offer excellent fine dining in Myrtle Beach. New York Prime is excellent fine dining serving outstanding steaks and an excellent wine list. Villa Romano is the best Italian in MB for fine dining.

    Chespeake House @ 9918 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 843 - 449 - 3231.
    Chestnut Hill Restaurant @ 9922 North Kings Highway, Myrtle beach, SC 843 - 449 - 3984.
    New York Prime Steakhouse @ 405 28th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC 843 - 448 - 8081.
    Villa Romano Italian Restaurant @ 707 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 843 - 448 - 4990.

I second the recommendation for Chuck's steak house. For absolutely wonderful Italian, try Angelo's at the south end of Kings Hwy. Great meatballs and they have delicious steak too.

Also suggest Market Commons. Sid & Roy's is very good and so is Tommy Bahama's. Sid and Roy's not quite as upscale. Umberto's in Barefoot Landing is pretty good, upscale Italian, but IMHO Myrtle Beach is not the place for upscale Italian. Divine Fish House in Murrells Inlet also excellent upscale. They have very good sushi and seafood. Indo-Thai is in a strip center near the Grande Dunes (17 bypass, near hospital). Excellent sushi.

Tommy Bahama's looks outstanding. I can't wait to try the coconut shrimp, quesadilas and crabcake appetizers.
