small engagement/bridal shower room central nj

Looking for a small room/good food in Central NJ to celebrate my daughter's engagement. She and her fiance are having a very small (just family) wedding, but I wanted to include a few other people in celebrating their upcoming marriage. Something warm with good food/wine and a private place. Thank you!

Depending on how small the party, restaurant 153 in rocky hill has a beautiful wine cellar/private room that i myself have been eying up for a similar occasion.

The Pluckemin Inn (Bedminster) is a wonderful place to have a small party as they have a great private space (not sure how big your "small" group is). Food is very good and for private parties, they can work with you on the menu. This is our go-to place for small family get togethers/events (like my dad's 60th bday!).

Stage Left in New Brunswick can do private parties, they can section a part of the restaurant. Great food, but pricey, so I don't know what your budget is.

I did my engagement party at Triestina in Cranford, NJ. Good italian - honestly, I don't remember the wine since it was a lunch.

And moving to the southern part of Central, Tre Piani outside Princeton would be a nice place.

Thanks - I actually was thinking of Tre Piani since my daughter is mostly vegetarian and they do a lot of wholesome, organic stuff. But, some people are coming from further north, so that might be a little hard to get to....but I'll think about it...
