Has anyone been to this place? How long has it been open? We travel to TN each year for Thanksgiving and are thinking about stopping here for dinner one night. www.townhouseva.com

The Town House is in my hometown (tiny), though I haven't lived there in years. We've been twice when I go home to visit my folks. It's lovely, but not for people who don't have a sense of adventure about their food or don't necessarily appreciate the artistic aspect. Unique presentations and combinations of flavors and textures. Go for at least the 5-course tasting (we did 10 last time!) -- portions are sized accordingly. One of the best things they do there are the wine pairings -- the sommelier is excellent. Local wines, Old World, New World, fortified, hard cider, several bubblies -- it's always a pleasant surprise.
