We're going to dinner with another couple on a Sunday night and catching a 7:30pm concert at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. Any recommendations for a nice/fun place?

  1. Michael's Trattoria has very good Italian

If you want more of a bar atmosphere pre concert, try Archie Moore's

Michaels, a great choice, is not open on Sundays, Neither is Fratelli's or Tata's which are also very good. However, right in to center of town, at cross of Main and Center, in Simpson's court is Half Moon Cafe. Great food, light or hearty meals, great pizza. BYOB also. Kind of funky, you order and pay at the counter then are served your meals at your table. They will take reservations for a table.
      Enjoy your show.

Oh-- you are right! Not open Sunday. Half Moon IS a nice choice-- but allow time, can be slow. Generally good specials.

Had a delicious meal at the Half Moon Cafe last night -- perfect speed for the evening and loved the BYOB aspect. Glad we made a res as it was packed. Thanks again, Babs & Madisoneats, for steering us in the right direction!! PS Keith Urban concert rocked, too.
