Squirt imported from Mexico - where to buy?

I recently was served Squirt imported from Mexico at Mijita in the Ferry Building. Like so-called, "Mexican Coke", this is made with cane sugar not corn syrup and tastes just like the original I grew up with - not to mention much, much better than its American cousin drowning in corn by-products...

Anyone know where I can buy it in San Francisco? Relative to Mexican Coke, I used to get it at Costco but heard they had some disagreement with the purveyor and stopped stocking it. I have recently found it at BevMo at a good price.

I think I've seen it at Mi Tierra on San Pablo in Berkeley. They carry Mexican coke and some other soda.

I found some in a local mexican grocery in Hollister. It took a magnifying glass to read the paper label that was attached. Which listed Aspertame, not sugar or corn syrup. Buyer beware.

That is surprising! Was it a diet Squirt? I have a case I bought from Bi-Rite in San Francisco. I will try to deciphervthe small print!

Don't know. The printed labeling was all in Spanish. Says "Quitased Squirt El de Toronja con Jugo". On line translators don't recognize Quitased.

"Sed" is thirst, so I take it to mean something like "thirst-quenching"...

I´m mexican, and..we dont call Squirt "Mexican Coke" , it´s just a soda, it main ingredient is grapefruit juice...
And the translation of "Quitased" is thirst remover, is just that is a game of words.. "quita" means remove and "sed" means thirst

You can buy it at nearly every little Mexican grocery store at Mission/16th. When I am shopping this week during my lunch break, I will take a closer look and give you some specific store names.

No, Wolfe. I have not, but will try them when I am in the area. Thanks for the suggestion!
