Looking for a good tuna melt in San Dimas or Diamond Bar

or anywhere in between. Must be open for lunch during the week. Thanks!

    Hey, calabasas_trafalgar!

I think you would be pleased with the Sugar Rush Café. Along with some delicious breakfast and lunch offerings, they serve up a pretty serious tuna melt. The chicken & spinach melt is very good as well.

Try a cafe latte or mocha. They use Inteligentsia coffee and brew a decent cup.

    Sugar Rush Café
    900 Valley Blvd
    Walnut, CA 91789
    (909) 869-7969

The area is somewhat industrio-desolate; here’s a map link:

My apologies, but the address and map link I provided are incorrect. The correct address is:

this sounds good, and much more realistic geographically with my time constraints. Thanks! BTW, it's 3900 Valley.

If you are willing to drive a bit further east, Corky's in nearby Rancho Cucamonga. http://www.corkyskitchenandbakery.com... does a fine tuna melt.

And if you go, get a slice of the German Chocolate Cream Pie, or a whole one to go. It's well worth the additional calories.

thanks but it's a little too far. I'm in San Dimas, my friend is in Diamond Bar, I only have an hour, and we're hoping to meet in between.

Thanks for the tip on that one, hadn't heard about it and I'm not too far away.

              Mr. Thornton,

Just a word of caution. Corky's is NOT a destination place. Go if you are in the area and definitely sample some of their pies/desserts, which in my opinion is their raison d'être.

              Cheers.

You might try Honey's, just west of the San Dimas city limit in Glendora on Route 66.
