Takeout that will travel well (NY to DC)

I am looking for takeout suggestion that will travel well to DC. I will have dinner at Sushi Yasuda and heading out via Penn Station. I am willing to travel for good food so any suggestions would be helpful! And yes, I am mindful of other passengers so something with minimal to avg pungency would be great.

Thank you!

i would do something like Katz, Russ and Daughters, then keep heading west to Donut Plant, and maybe dan tots at egg custard king and pork buns at meh li bakery. and if u have time i'd keep going west to kee's chocolates.

Katz's!! Buy the Pastrami or Corned Beef and ask them to wrap it seperately form the bread so it doesn' get soggy. Assemble the sammich when you arrive.

FYI Russ and Daughters' hours are:
        Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
        Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
        Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

You will probably also need to get a portable cooler to keep the salmon cool as you'd have to visit R&D before your dinner. You'd also need to visit Doughnut Plant and Kee's before dinner as well.

Doughnut Plant is closed Mondays and also closes around 6:30pm or 7pm (or earlier if they sell out). The selection is greatly reduced in the afternoons as they are so popular. Also, they're closed for vacation 8/31-9/6.

Kee's closes pretty early as well and often sells out of the most popular flavors quickly. Their hours for the Soho store are:
Monday through Friday, 9am to 7pm
Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 7pm

BTW, the Egg Custard King on Mott closed. The Grand St store also closed but a different bakery is there now.
