Looking for a great Italian restuarant...not-so-much upscale feeling. Good food, nice ambiance, relaxed.

Try Sette Bello (62nd St. and Federal Hwy) in Fort Lauderdale or Valentino's on S. Federal Hwy., near Davie Blvd., also in Fort Lauderdale. Both have excellent food.

Thanks for the suggestions...I know where both of these are. Heard wonderful things about Valentino's...pricey though, maybe will save for a special occasion.

Casa d'Angelo (more upscale) or d'Angelo Pizza and Tapas (more casual) are both very good, they're owned by the same guy... food and service is always great.

Thanks, I didn't know they had the same owner. Will definately try them.

I haven't been in a while but Gianni's on Atlantic has been very good, nice but casual atmosphere. Great garlic rolls! I am looking forward to trying Kitchenetta, have met several people recently who rave about it. It's in Fort Laud on US1, north of Sunrise Blvd. More casual is Franco and Vinnie's Pizza Shack on Sunrise just east of the Intracoastal bridge. Great pizza and very good Italian food, been there for ages. Cozy atmosphere.

Thanks for the suggestions...Gianni's has great lasagna and garlic rolls, but looking for a different atmosphere. I also have heard good things about Kichenetta, except for the volume.

Love Kitchenetta! Best meatballs ever, anywhere. I've looked for ones to surpass theirs and so far nada.

Yes, it's quite noisy inside. If it's nice out, eat out on the patio. :)

Everyone that has gone there seemed to like it excep the noise factor. Will go when it is a nice evening to sit outside.
