  1. Nope....but I don't eat in Short Pump often and if I do it's generally to take advantage of Anoaka. I have not heard anything about it.

    1. I have. It's pretty good with both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes on the menu. I wouldn't say it's the best of either that I've ever had, but both are pretty tasty. On my last visit I got the lotus root salad with shrimp, which I really liked. Service is good and friendly.

Thank you for your reply "princsoreo". I saw it advertised in the latest "Richmond" magazine & the website appeared as if it is worth a try. Furthermore as we live just off River Rd in Goochland it is only about a 12 minute drive for us via 288 & Broad St.

For Chinese my preference is "Full Kee" & Vietnamese "Mekong" but always looking to try something new.

Those are my preferences too! And, while I wouldn't say Far East is as good as either one, I'd think it would be a good option near your house. Also, don't know if you've tried House of Vietnam in the Short Pump shopping center with Martin's, but I think it's pretty decent for Vietnamese and it has good service.

la michoacana - not really a restaurant but the homemade traditional tacos are insane. helps my brother lives there and i have an excuse - and a place to take it out to and get margaritas.
love the barbacoa and the carne asada. amazing.
