North End Caffe - Manhattan Beach

Friends from Seattle had a 3 hour layover at LAX, so I picked them up and we went to North End for Breakfast. Eggs from Hell and the famous egg rolls were a hit ... the honey latte was good as well. This was my first time and look forward to going back to try their lunch/dinner items.

As far as breakfast spots in MB (ie Uncle Bills, the Kettle) are concerned, this is new favorite.

Just know it's been even busier at the Cafe since they've been on The Food Network's Diners,
Drive- ins and Dives a few months ago.

Try the Kahlua Pig Monte Cristo Egg Rolls. All I can say is wow.

I imagine that it's "kalua" pig (although after a few Kahlua's it probably doesn't make a damn bit of difference)... ;-D>

Its a nice spot, very busy most of the time and eating outside on the sidewalk if fun for some, jhowever, I actually prefer the inside. Food is good, belgium fries are very good. Have only had lunch here and the sandwiches are good as well. A little pricey but all in all a nice spot..

Seems like breakfast and lunch are confirmed to provide delightful cuisine .. how about dinner?

I want to try the Belgian fries. Which sandwich did you try Foodandwine?

Hi there, the fries are great and comes with some dipping sauces. The sandwich was a grilled chicken with some veggies on a pretty good toasted french roll ( It had a name but I forgot )
