Peasant recommendations

Please help steer me in the right direction at Peasant on Elizabeth St. What are your favorite dishes at Peasant? What shouldn't be missed?

Thanks in advance.

Last time I was there we liked the speck-wrapped mozzarella balls, sausage and lentils (my favorite), spicy octopus, gnocchi with mushrooms (really good), suckling pig, a side of polenta, the bread pudding.

I like their cuttlefish baked in spicy tomato sauce. In the summer sometimes they have the pasta dish with rabbit and fava beans, it's pretty amazing and not to be missed.
I have never been impressed with their desserts, but they have nice dessert wines by the glass if you want something sweet.

The pizzas make a nice appetizer to share, cooked nicely in the wood-fired oven, thin crust. Very tasty.

I did have a problem once ordering pizza though. Our server said there was a back up of orders and it would take too long to make so we couldn't order it. Frankly, I was appalled. Especially since I had been raving about the pizza and brought friends to try it.
