I'm looking for an authentic, sit on the floor, and eat with your hand Indian Resturant in the ABQ area. Can anyone help?

Been here 10 years, never heard of one like that here.

Right. OTOH, India Kitchen on Montgomery has been as good as anyplace I've eaten on Devon St in Chicago. I've also had nice meals at the India Palace on Montgomery and at Rasoi by the University, although it's been quite a while since I've been to either of those places.

Thank you both very much. Coming from a little town (1,500 population) in Nebraska i'm trying to introduce my children to as many new things as i can before they graduate. There are not many choices for dining in my home town.

If you want an easy way to introduce them to Indian food without risking spending $$ on something they might not like, try Saffron Tiger Indian Express on Paseo Del Norte, just east of San Pedro. It is fast food, but it is decent for an intro to Indian Food.

The reviews on the link aren't great, but for what you are looking for, try it.
