looking for betty crocker cookbook from the 80's or so
hi. i'm looking for a betty crocker cookbook from the 80's (at least I think it was from the 80's.) On one of its pages it had a picture of the GO square from Monopoly. And it's not the Betty Crocker Cookbook for Boys and Girls, which had that pic on the cover. The book I'm looking for had that pic in one of the pages in the body of the book. And one of the recipes of this book i'm looking for was one for hamburger cookies, made from coconut shavings that were colored with green food coloring. Does anyone know which Betty Crocker book this was? Let me know, thanks a lot.

I wonder if it's in the Betty Crocker Cooky Book? There are several versions of that one. (Some spelled Cooky, some spelled Cookie). At least one of those came out in the 1980s.

I know that Betty Crocker is not considered high-brow, but I have several BC books, including one of the boys & girls cookbooks, and the description of the photo and the cookie sounds too low-brow even for the general cookbooks; seems more likely to have been included in a cookbook for children. Are you sure it wasn't in a B&G cookbook? It's not in my 1956 or 1969 BC picture cookbook, nor in the 1965 Boys&Girls cookbook that I have.

I don't know which cookbook it is, but might this be the recipe?
