Looking for cheap seafood restaurants in Fort Lauderdale..... REALLY CHEAP!
Need good cheap seafood to fill up new son-in-law who has a HUGE appetite! The newleyweds are in Fort Lauderdale now staying at Il Lugano and have their car with them but don't want to travel far. These two are on a VERY strict budget! Need some suggestions for good seafood for very casual dining. Lunch and dinner. Thx!

Try Catfish Deweys (http://www.catfishdeweys.com/ ) for good, inexpensive seafood and southern cooking. Check the menu on their website, they have several AYCE specials on different nights for your big eater.

This is sad but there really isn't alot of good seafood places in Miami/FTL and the words cheap and seafood don't normally go well together. But here are some joints that are decent and relatively inexpensive ($10-20/pp)
Rustic Inn Crabhouse (if anything it's been around forever)
Islamorada Fish company located inside the Bass Pro in Dania Beach
Joe's Crabshack (Lauderhill)
Old Florida Seafood house, Wilton Manors (an oldie, never tried myself).Don't forget there is an inordinate number of all you can eat sushi restaurants if his stomach threatens to bankrupt their trip.
Shinju in Davie, Florida
Makino in Lauderhill, Florida.Just as a thought, you can download $25 gift certificates for $10 each at restaurant.com for a place called 3030 Ocean that is a nice/fine restaurant on the beach. Will save them a good amount and the seafood will be a better quality. There's a place I've been meaning to try called the Cape Cod Room on trendy Collins avenue that has a coupon on the same site ($100 gift certificate for $40).
