Need recommendation: intimate caterer at MY house for small dinner party.
I'd love to host a soiree at my house for my girlfriends. I have a good sized kitchen and would like somebody with a personality who can come and cook for us and talk to us at the same time. Perhaps someone who can "teach" us while we have drinks.
About 8-10 people.
Any recommendations?

No particular date in mind. I was hoping to host a series of "Girl's Nite" to get all the gals together. No particular limitations about food -- but maybe something like fish/chicken and dessert bites. I just want to spend more time entertaining than cooking. But I would love the caterer to be more than just the cook. One thought I had was to maybe have some sort of cooking demonstration, or just get the girls involved in some of the food preparation. Point is, it's all open for suggestions, but I just can't think of any services out there like this -- something less corporate, more personalized.
