Dinner on the cape for (celebratory) event.

Hi, my sister is getting engaged at the cape this weekend, and her future fiance wants my mother, father and I to surprise her after their dinner at his family's house. So, the three of us will be eating before hand on our own, and although this is a celebratory event it is being met with mixed emotions. Thus, I am looking for the best food in the area to start our night on a good note. Any suggestions? Obviously seafood is preferred. I don't mind hole in the wall places as long as the food is excellent, but I think my parents want something a little upscale.

Thanks for any help!

The Cape is a big place. Please tell us the town or the area and then it will be easier to suggest something.

I have enjoyed the Impudent Oyster in Chatham but i don't spend much time there so I can't help you further. Hopefully other CHers will chime in with more recs.

If you want to go to the very best the Cape has to offer, go to 28 Atlantic, at the Wequasett Inn. Leaps and bounds above anywhere else, but expect the bill to reflect that truth. Food, service, and ambience are really unmatched, and that includes the finer places in Boston as well.

I second the Impudent Oyster for a more casual meal.
