Columbia, Ca. area restaurants

I know that Columbia is a tourist place, but there must be some almost-excellent restaurants in close proximity. We just can't do sandwiches, burgers and pizza for dinner. The City Hotel restaurant isn't open until October, permit problems. Any suggestions? We are going over Labor Day weekend.

Bart's Black Skillet is now open in the state park, formerly Columbia House Restaurant: www.bartsblackskillet.com. They are open for dinner Thurs. - Sat. 5-8 p.m. Planning to eat lunch there Fri. Aug. 27.

Murphy's is very close by and has numerous great dining places.
