Indian food in St. John's

Call me crazy but I'm in St. John's this week and looking for Indian food. Can anybody make a recommendation? Thanks so much.

Well, I've always enjoyed India Gate, although I haven't been there recently (I live out of province).

We went to the India Gate last week and they are closed for extensive renovations. I passed by the Taj Mahal on Water Street but the food I saw folks eating by the window didn't "look" up to the Gate's standards.
