Where to eat north of Everett??
I visit my sister on Camano Island every year, and every year we travel to downtown Seattle to eat in wonderful restaurants . Are there any restaurants north of Everett you could recommend? Is it really a wasteland of fast food chains?

It's not a complete wasteland, but there are few nicer restaurants to rival DT Seattle. The Oyster Bar in Bow is one. The area north of Everett to Bellingham is more noted for its pub food and local flavor. If you watch "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives", it's that sort of unpretentious eating. Ask if you want suggestions, but give a radius from Stanwood.
