Looking for cultured goat butter.

I recently had some cultured goat butter in a restaurant (not in T.O.) and I was hoping someone would have a source for some in Toronto or the Toronto area (I am willing to drive to a goat dairy if necessary).

I know where to get regular goat's butter. I know I can make cultured goat's butter myself. I am looking for any tips on where one might, possibly, buy such a product ready-made.

Thanks.

  1. I haven't seen it here (and I'm a butter nut!).
It's getting very difficult to find any SALTED CULTURED any more (except President's Choice).
If anybody has it I'd think Fiesta Farms is a likely candidate.

I knew they had goat butter - but still aren't sure if it's cultured!

I checked at Fiesta last night. They had 2 or 3 different brands of goat butter none of which were labelled "cultured".

    1. Went to McEwan's today to pick up some Stirling butter (which was out of stock) and they had goat butter...not cultured though.

      1. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I guess I'll be trying my hand at making it.

Fresh from the Farms may carry it. I noticed today that they had goat ice cream and goat sour cream but wasn't specifically looking for any of these. They also had Stirling butter in.

        2. Where is Fresh from the Farms. If in Toronto where?

          1. Oops, I have been in that store so many times and never remember the name. Mostly my kids shop there and will get some things for me. Thank you for the info!
