Vietnamese in Scottsdale/Phoenix area please!!!!!
I love good Vietnamese food. . .any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Within Scottsdale city limits, I can recommend Noodles Ranch at the southern end of town. A few hundred feet from the Scottsdale border in northeastern Phoenix, I can recommend Tea Light Cafe. Both serve pho in a casual atmosphere. I don't think either has a liquor license.
I've heard good things about Saigon Nites, near the Scottsdale Airpark, but have not tried the restaurant myself.
There are many more possibilities, but those depend on what the wording "Scottsdale/Phoenix area" means to you. Does it mean the entire Phoenix Metropolitan Area, the northeastern portion of the metro area in and around Scottsdale, the East Valley, or something else entirely? Keep in mind that while good Vietnamese food is scattered throughout the metro are, it is most concentrated along the Dobson Corridor in Mesa and Chandler.

I have nothing to add since this recent thread on the subject:
I think the original location of Totties Asian Fusion might have a couple of Vietnamese selections. Their new location has a small kitchen, which puts some limits on the menu. I had Vietnamese style eggrolls at Malee's On Main that were typical of what I've had elsewhere, but, just a guilty pleasure appetizer, really.

We live in the NW valley so will have to check out Nam Sao. If you've been to Pho Avina (also in Glendale), how does it compare? I also really like Viet Kitchen in North Phoenix.
