Tusker Beer in Toronto?
Is there a bar or restaurant that serves Tusker Lager/Malt in Toronto preferably close to the downtown area?
Ethiopian House at Yonge and Irwin used to have it, though last time I was there (at least a year ago) they had none in stock but it was still on the menu.

Just curious, why bar or restaurant? Unfortunately other than a handful of places around town, the selection of beers is pretty generic. BTW, it's available at the LCBO but you probably know that since you were asking specifically for a bar.
I had it at the Bier Market on the Esplanade a few years ago. Don't know if they still carry it though. Might be worth a shot.

Which one are you looking for - Tusker Lager or Tusker Malt Lager (aka Premium Lager)? Because they're different beers.
Tusker Lager (4.2% alc) is available at many LCBOs, and a few bars and restaurants in town.
Tusker Malt Lager (5.0% alc) isn't available in Ontario.
Just wanted to make sure you're not on a wild goose (or elephant) chase... ;)
I'm looking for either one. A group I traveled to Kenya with is having a mini reunion in Toronto so we were looking to have some Tuskers (we had both kinds on the trip).
And I'm looking for a bar or restaurant because I'm not from there so unless I want to buy it at LCBO and drink in my hotel room, that would be our other option.
Ah. Well, it's not especially common in restaurants/bars.
There are a few Ethiopean restaurants that serve it since it's one of the few African beers easily available here (Castle from S.A. is the only other one that comes to mind).
You could try Bier Markt as well, although I'd suggest calling or emailing them first, as they focus pretty strongly on Belgian and other European beers now, so it may no longer be available: http://www.thebiermarkt.com
Another possibility is Rhino, a neighbourhood bar & grill in the west end of downtown that has an extensive bottle list. They are often out of stock of some things, but if you were to contact them in advance and let them know when you're coming, they're the sort of place that would probably be willing to make sure that they had a case or two on hand: http://www.therhino.ca
I think the lager is available at Smokeles Joe's (which also does food and is on John St).
Or if you are ok with venturing to Parkdale, the Rhino has it.
