Recommendations needed for restaurants in Hamilton and area?
Being in Toronto, I don't find too many reasons to visit Hamilton, so I am pretty unknowledgable about restaurants in Hamilton. I would like recommendations for a continental restaurant for lunch. Maybe a bistro, or a place that's close to upscale. I am looking to spend around $60 pp for lunch. Right now all I can think of is Blacktree in Burlington.

Have only heard great things about Quatrefoil haven't tried it yet. Blacktree doesn't do lunch. If you're happy between Burlington & Hamilton and want nice nice, Lord Nelson is still a go-to for sure. Have heard good things about Seven Windows in Hamilton, and if you want a drive in the country, Twisted Lemon in Cayuga is superb if you can get in they are so busy. Less "continental" the new Thai place in Dundas is by far the best I have had.

You need to try Quatrefoil in Dundas! I was there the other night for dinner and it is by far the best restaurant in the Hamilton area. Here is a link to their site:
