Dinner around Paral.lel area
Any suggestions for eating around this area please?
We will be there 23 - 25th Sept and are looking for somewhere close to this area as we will have been touring all day long and want to be able to just walk somewhere close by (as long as there is anything suitable)
Thanks!

We stayed near there briefly in late June and loved Quimet i Quimet and Inopia. Don't know if Quimet will be open during La Merce and Inopia is already gone. IMHO, Av. Para.lel is not an area of good eats. Lots of Indian/Pakistani groceries and some little bars with cheap food.
Other places on my list that we didn't get to try in this area include:
Pizza Bella Napoli on Magarit 14 (M:Poble Sec). Might work for a simple salad and pizza.
Bohemic, 42 Carrer Manso (nr St Antoni market 93-424 0628) M: Poble Sec, TUES-SAT from 8:30 pm, 40Euro tasting menu
Cuatro, c/ Montserrat 4, nr M: Drassanes. +34 93 301 43 24 6-course menu 25€ (open lunch 5 dys, dinner Fr-Sa) (m-w 12:30-7 th-fr 12:30-2:30am sat 5pm-3am) email: info@4-barcelona.com
If I were you, I would call Quimet i Quimet and ask if they will be open. Calle Poeta Cabanyes, 25 93 442 31 42 Metro: Paral.lel (Green Line, L3) Mon-Fri noon-4pm and 7-10:30pm; Sat noon-4pm.
Enjoy La Merce!
