Locanda Verde French Toast

I need to know how to replicate that french toast texture at home! Their hazelnut crusted french toast is the best i've ever had in my life! The bread was sooo thick, light and airy! Any ideas how to make it???

      Yes Yes Yes Yes.
      We had the Almond Semifreddo after a meal and today a doughnut and an oatmeal cookie sandwich after yet another long wine tasting down the block. Semifreddo was up there with the very best you gonna get, the oatmeal cookie sandwich great, the innocent looking doughnut was so wondrous I came close to forgetting its price. May she live long and bake for us.
