Best Spare Ribs in SGV - Annias's Kitchen

calabasas_trafalgar Aug 21, 2010 01:21 PM

We went to this place several times, mostly for Mexican dishes, which were always good. On Friday night's the special was spare ribs, so I decided to try - and was blown away. Fall of the bone, huge portions, and the sauce was to die for, all for $12.95. No more Lucille's, Tony Roma's, Hutch's or dare I say it - Robin's, this is the place for me. It may not be a true BBQ joint, but for spare ribs at least, this place has it nailed. Now I can't wait to try the Baby Back Ribs(Wednesday night).

If you are comparing the ribs at Annias's Kitchen to those places you named, almost anything will be better.

But I agree the spare ribs are great here. They are not real BBQ but cooked in an oven. But that doesn't take away from how good these ribs are.

I didn't see the spareribs on the menu at their website, maybe I missed that. I haven't been there in a while, but I will check it out. My husband is a pilot and he would love going back here just for the planes :-)

Spare ribs are served on Friday's only. Baby backs on Wed.

Are you talking about Annia's Kitchen at the El Monte airport?

Yup, I agree. I saw the spare ribs on the menu and thought "why not?". I thought they were very good, too.

went back tonite for the baby backs. Almost as good. I have a feeling these folks could serve truck tires and make 'em taste good!
