Any "secret" sushi place in Charleston, SC

We are ready to give up on finding good sushi in Charleston. Have tried Tsunami, Wasabi, Sushi Hiro, Tokyo Sushi (Mt P), Tasty Thai, Bambu (Mt P), Oriental Garden‎, and a few others. Does anyone know of another place out here that they can recommend?

We've not tried Shi Ki.

Thanks guys... have also tried Shi Ki... again nothing earth shattering. Will just focus on all of the other great foods Charleston has to offer and settle for the average sushi places.

Oh that's disheartening. Guess we'll skip Shi Ki as I am tired of wasting money and not being satisfied.

As expensive as food is around here, you'd think the quality would be outstanding. Oh so wrong.

I am glad someone else feels the same way I do...I am sick of everyone clapping over how amazing the food scene is in Charleston. Yeah, there are more nice restaurants than usual here for a place of its size, but they rake you over the coals for not much food. Most of the time I go into a restaurant I feel like I got ripped off. Still, I did have a decent experience at Shi Ki at lunch, I thought it was good sushi and reasonably priced. I had outstanding sushi at Nakato in West Ashley, they are only open for dinner.
