Al Wadi - West Roxbury - now open!

We saw that Al Wadi was open on the VFW Parkway - first night -- so we stopped and had a nice meal. They have completely redone the old Spring Blossom/Human Pagoda/China Bell site by the hockey rink, and it looked very nice. Got there about 7 pm -- about 5 tables filled in a large dining room -- but several large groups moved in by 8, and it looked like a good first night.
I had the lamb shank -- large generous portions -- and my wife had the mixed grille, which she said was terrific. Too much food -- had to take some home. I thought portions were very generous, and the people working there are very eager to get things off on the right foot. We will definitely be back, and it is nice to see a tasty option in this site.

Any regional dishes, Egyptian, Palestinian, Syrian? What about prices?

Lebanese food -- entrees in the $18-22 range.
Forgot to mention -- if you remember the old Spring Blossom site - this place has windows! Huge improvement!

I remember getting locked in China Bell cause someone stole a scorpion bowl.
