Rio Brazil Cafe Closed (?)

I was at Chego last night, and noticed that the place where Rio Brazil Cafe is was empty, and it appears they've closed up. Anyone know if this is a permanent closure, or are they moving? Sad news if they are indeed closed for good.

ah shit... say it ain't so. but i guess i have myself to blame since the last time i was there was back in like Aug or Septemeber. it was open as of about a month and a half ago though.

sadly, i only tried ther shrimp bobo, but none of hte moquecas, and none of the capiunrinhais.

now where am i to go for a bahian moqueca???

thanks i forgot about that place. too bad it's kind of far, but at least it exists. btw, are the moquecas there better or the ones at the now dearly departed rio brasil? are is it just comparing appleas and oranges on my part?

The place specialises in moquecas. I only had one moqueca at Rio Brasil, so it's hard for me to compare. Go on a Sunday to Moqueca, though, and you can shop the surprisingly good farmers' market and then go have a filling lunch of feijoada (excellent) at Moqueca.
