Looking for a fun, hip place for 8 work colleagues to dine out together. 7 women, 1 guy. Entrees in the $12 - $20 range. Vegetarian friendly.

Any ideas? I'm at a loss. I live in the mission and can't think outside my neighborhood. Help!

Market Street is a long street, where on Market do you want? If you mean the financial district, one of the spots on Belden Place might work, they're fun and not too expensive.

It's slightly pricier than what you want to spend but I love Chez Papa, on Mint Plaza. It's tucked away just a block off of Market Street (between 5th and 6th) with a sexy interior and stylish vibe. There is always at least one veggie option on the entrees - last time I was there I had the ratatouille, which was fantastic, plus a veggie pasta on the apps menu which is perfect as a main. It's easy to make a great dinner there out of two appetizers, if people are watching their wallets. Plus they have great oysters, a good cocktail program and REALLY good french fries.
