Palos Verdes Peninsula evening drive - where to eat afterwards?

A friend from Vancouver, B.C. will be visiting LA for the first time ever and staying with us in Long Beach for three days. Our plan for Sat. evening is a sunset drive around the PV peninsula. Any recommendations for dinner? A view would be great, but not essential; a $$$$ price is OK only if the food is dazzling :)

If you are up for something outside the box then it might be fun to check out Croatian pizza at the new (2nd) location for Pavich's in Palos Verdes http://www.yelp.com/biz/pavichs-brick...

Thanks for all the good tips, everyone! Just wondering: has anyone eaten at Saluzzi Italian restaurant
(in Golden Cove Plaza at PV Drive & Hawthorne)?

My mother went to visit the Terranea resort in Palos Verdes which she said had absolutely breathtaking views from their bar and restaurant. I've also read good things about their restaurant there, Mar'sel. They serve locally produced, organic ingredients and apparently have their own herb garden. Try it out and let us know how it is! =)

Forgot about the Terranea. Haven't been but I know the Marineland site which is pretty spectacular.

Your best bet is probably the restaurant at the Trump golf course.

W's China Bistro is quite popular. A friend of ours took us there for their happy hour where everything including drinks are dirt cheap. The food is quite different than the old Chinese fare but you need to sample a little bit of everything. You can even watch them cook your food through the glass windows.

i went there once, and it was not too good.

i would recommend dinner at bouzy/chez melange in redondo beach after watching the sunset from bluff or malaga cove. don't forget your sweater!
