I know where I do not want to go in southern Westchester near Scarsdale. I do not want Lusardi's, Tarry Lodge, x2o, 42, Mulino's. Any suggestions?

How about Rosie's Bistro Italiano in Bronxville? Or Spadaro in Northern New Rochelle.

It's such a subjective thing. How do we know what you like out of a place? the food at x2o is great but the service can be hit or miss but to me the food makes up for it. the pizzas and pasta at tarry lodge are awesome and the service is always decent (at the bar it's super) and you usually don't have the crowds that one has at dinner but it's also not a ghost town either so the energy of the place is usually always alive. like roxlet says above the service at rosie's can be ok and so is the food. nothing to write home about but solid. spadaro's pasta are top notch but to me the service is annoying. Il Castello in Mamaroneck is solid as well but some of my friends want more of a "scene" like Moderne Barn or Restaurant North. Good Luck.
