Pizzeria Bianco late night?

Most of the posts I've read about PB have been requesting advice on how to get in when they first open. How is the wait for later in the night? How late are they open? We will be in PHX tonight thru Sunday afternoon so I would like to fit in a stop there but we have a very flexible schedule and could make it pretty much any time of the afternoon or night Wed - Sat.

  1. It's open until 10 PM, and in my experience that means that those who present themselves at the door and get their names on the list prior to 10 will be seated. If we check in at 9, we're usually seated around 10.

Personally, I find going late the only way to deal with the experience. Any outdoor waiting will be out of the heat, and I think that eating late at 10 PM is much more civilized than eating early at 5 PM. My only suggestion would be to go early in the week. Wednesday will probably be less of a hassle than Friday or Saturday.

I always understood that they stopped taking reservations sometime around 8-ish, depending on the crowds. Is that no longer true?

I don't believe Pizzeria Bianco will take a reservation if you present yourself at, say, 9:45, or even 9:30 for that matter (the bar being the exception).

I went once on a Tuesday or Wednesday and put my name in at 9:15 after leaving a dbacks game early. We were sat before 10 pm so it was perfect time for a glass of wine.

    2. We've been quoted a seating time at 11 pm before (having got there at 7 for a 4-hour wait; we didn't wait). But as exit2lef mentions, I'd put your name in before 10 pm.
