Sushi in Destin
Hoping I can get some guidance on this. Originally I wanted to go to Osaka Sushi Rocks in the village, after reading the reviews I am not going there. I am having a hard time figuring out which is better Osaka Japenese Steak House or Harbor Docks. It seems the reviews are mixed on both. I would also appreciate any other sushi recomendation.

If you don't mind driving out to Santa Rosa Beach, we have been enjoying the sushi at VKI. It is just past the US98/30a(west) intersection... near Louie Louie.

Marina Cafe offers sushi. From 5-7pm sushi and all drinks (beer, wine & liquor) are half price everyday for happy hour. They have a cocktail deck over looking the harbor and you can take food and drinks out there to enjoy as well. The sushi chef worked at Harbor Docks for many years and is now working at Marina Cafe as the sushi chef.

Harbor Docks' general reviews seem to have indicated they've really slipped in the past couple years. I'm not sure about their sushi specifically.
I've been happy with Sushimoto in the strip mall just west of the outlet mall (look for Melting Pot from US 98) the time I've tried it. Another promising newcomer is Red Ginger on the north side of the Mid Bay Bridge in the Bluewater Bay Winn-Dixie shopping center on FL 20. I've only tried their lunch specials so far, but can say I've been really happy with how much skill they put into a $9 weekday two roll special. (Just stick with the Japanese part of the menu, the Chinese side is pretty average)

Osaka probably has the best Sushi but I like Harbor Docks because it's been there a long time. The food and service is excellent. I don't eat Sushi but I like HD's. I like the deck and atmosphere. Good luck. Bon Appetit.

re: Littleman
Not sure where else to get sushi in Destin (I haven't been to our condo in like a year now), but to heck with Osaka. Last time we left there with a belly full of mediocre sushi and a nearly $200 tab (which would probably have been $80-100 at any other Japanese steakhouse). We all swore never to go back, the quality and selection was just average, but the prices are like Nobu or Moto for crying out loud.
