Help figuring out a drink I had at the Gibson
Hey everyone. I went to the Gibson last Tuesday night, and at the end of the night had a drink which was phenomenal, but I can't remember what was in it exactly or the precise name.
I think it was called the Last Go-round or something like that, and I believe the components were:
Cointreau
grapefruit juice
bitters (not sure which)
orange flower water
something else...?
Does anyone know what this was called or what it was? I tried calling, but they didn't answer....
Thanks in advance!

haha, thanks for the replies everyone :)
my memory of the original cocktail is unfortunately fuzzy, as it was my last one of the night -- what i do remember is it tasting awesome.
however, i don't believe it was fizzy in any way, and wasn't over ice. i do feel like it had some sort of froth on top, so maybe there was egg white in it....
oh, and it definitely wasn't on the menu.

I believe what you're looking for is the First Go Round. I don't think it's on the menu anymore, but it was quite nice.
If it is what I'm thinking of it had a full half ounce of angostura bitters. I also think it had an egg white in it to create a frothy head on it. Also, I think it used lemon.
Here's what I'd try, and tweak it to taste and based on your memory of the cocktail. .
1 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz Angostura
1/2 ounce Lemon Juice
1 dash orange flower water
1/2 egg whiteShake without ice to froth the egg, then shake with ice to chill. Pour over fresh ice and top with club soda.
Hope this helps.

The cocktail Last Round is:
Gin
Brandy
Pernod
Dry VermouthI imagine it tastes like syrup of Ipecac.
There is a similar cocktail to your recipe called Hybris:
Cointreau
Apricot Brandy
Grapefruit juice
Sprite
Lime juiceYou could throw some bitters in at the end of the night to settle your stomach.
