Fine dining near Hobby Airport??

An important business meeting is coming up and I am responsible for finding the restaurant. We are flying into Hobby and need to have lunch close by. Good food and ambiance for conducting a professional lunch is a must. Help! Any suggestions?

  1. Closest thing I can think of is Bonnie's Beef & Barrel. Have not eaten there in probably 10 years as I now live out in Sugarland.

Thanks. That was the first place I thought of also but it's been 10 years since I've been there as well. I seen a very bad review when I went looking for a phone number. Hoping someone would know of new and fabulous restaurant in the area....

I agree with Bonnie's. We still eat there on special occasions. Last time was a little under two years ago at our retirement party. It was excellent as always. Ask the server for pumpernickel (spelling?) bread, they only bring it if you ask. It's much better than that other stuff they serve. Salad bar is excellent!!! I used to go at lunch just for that. The prime rib is usually what I get there but the steaks are great too. I've never had anything there that wasn't really good. They may have some off nights to warrant the complaint you read. I've never ever had a complaint about them and I've been there probably 50 times. The service isn't always top notch, slow at times but it's never been terrible.

There just isn't much around Hobby that would be fit for a business meeting.
