Cheap eats with a 3-year old close to Sea Tac

  • 1

Hey all,

Coming into Sea Tac at around 4pm and staying at an airport hotel - can I have some recs for a good, cheap dinner spot? Happy to stay at the airport, but not sure about kid friendlyness there.

Am already planning to use light rail/buses for the Pancake Chef in the am, so am willing to travel some for dinner on public trans. also.

Thank you!

  1. I work in the area and I'm a Mother of a 3 year old. Your best bet for kid-friendly and affordable might be to take advantage of the hotel's courtesy shuttle (most hotels have them near the airport) and ask for a free ride down to Westfield. There's a big shopping center in nearby Tukwila w/ a Rainforest Cafe. It's not life changing cuisine but kids love it and the kids menu is affordable. There's robotic elephants, monkeys, crocodile and ever meal you get a "rain-storm" there's a ton of things for your 3yr old to look it. They're open for lunch and dinner.

Also at the same shopping center there's a BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Don't let the name fool ya. Yeah the place has a sports bar vibe but it's totally family friendly. Cheese Pizza is a hit w/ my kids.

There's also a Cheesecake Factory at the mall. They have a bazillion options on their menu.

Hope that helps. If you can get from the airport hotel to Westfield Southcenter area you're going to have some options.
