the u joint may have hit its stride with their monday night wing special. by far the best wings i've had in asheville. rubbed, smoked, grilled & then sauted; they are deicious, tender and succulent. available after 6p mondays, until they run out, which sounds like it's around 9p or so.

went again this week. i'm not kidding, these things are damn good. took a friend with us, and she cleaned her plate before i could; let me tell you, when it comes to me & wings, that's impressive. sold out at 8:20p this time.

have you tried Luella's wings? Those are my husband's faves. Smoked and sauced, very meaty. May be worth a shot as well for you. They only added them to the menu recently, I believe.
