Hi. Going to Kennebunk for our eating vacation soon. Have been to the usual places. All time fav was all you can eat lobster on Wed. night at Captain Hooks. Loved Bull and Claw, Mables, Maine Diner.
Know any other great deals on lobster dinners?
Thanks!!

You might try Nunan's http://nunanslobsterhut.com/ in Cape Porpoise.

Hey thanks Jackattack!! Thats exactly what I was looking for. I'm in!!

As for Nunans....hated it!!! If I'm paying $28 for twin tiny lobsters in the present economy, you better not be handing me a bag of chips with it and seating me on some rickety wooden bench.
If I'm paying $9 for a hudge lobster I'll sit anywhere and don't need anything,
        Cheers

You could try Cape Pier Chowder House in Cape Porpoise.

I do not think you will do any better than Captain Hooks Wednesday night special if you want to pig out on good lobster.

Wow, my parents live in K-port and I've never heard of Captain Hooks, and can't seem to find much about them on the interweb. What's the deal - where are they, how does the special work, is it good lobster (and good other stuff)? I'm totally going to have to hit this place next time I'm in town. All you can eat lobster sounds too good to be true.

And FWIW, the hot lobster roll at Maine Diner was the best I've had there; I think heating the lobster brings out the flavors. It's always extremely disappointing to me when I get a roll (usually paying $10 or $12 for it) where the lobster doesn't taste like much and the roll is hard and not grilled in butter.

I'm a local, dine out regularly, and never heard of Captain Hook's. Where is it? It'snot in Kennebunks.

ok, just went to website. Captain Hooks is in Wells and looks like it's mainly take out but does have some picnic tables outside. From a quick look at website it appears that they don't have a dining room - is that correct?

Hi. Captain Hooks is in Wells and it is pic nic tables outside. Thay have fried foods, booze too and sell fresh fish. The all you can eat was on wed. nights and I'm not sure if they still have it. Its our best memory of eating lobster in Maine.....eating soft shell lobbies like chicken wings!
