Easy to Transport Appetizers
I'm having a huge cocktail party for a 50th birthday and need some help with appetizers/hors d'oeuvres. I've found a lot of really great recipes. But this party is being held in a banquet room at a hotel. I'll have ice chests to keep food cold and chafing dishes.
The problem is I need food that transports easily from home to the hotel. Also, I need enough food to feed 50-100 people for 4 hours which is posing a problem because I'll have ice chests and not refrigerators.
Any help??

You may want to post on the Home Cooking board; you will get lots of replies and you might want to a suggest a theme you would like to stick to. When I see your post, I think hummus and vegetables, skewers with little mozzerella balls, cherry tomoato, and basil, stuffed dates with goat cheese, olives flowing from urns. All items that would survive ice chests pretty easy.
