A Voce (Columbus Circle) is pretty good. Telepan, too.

I thought I'd add in Salumeria Rosi which is on Amsterdam near 73rd. Great selection of meats and cheeses, and then there are small plates to share which is always fun. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. It's a small-ish place so I'd recommend a reservation.

Yes, I've enjoyed the many meals I've had there. Nice selection of wines by the glass as well.

Not exactly at Lincoln Center, but fairly close by is Dovetail. Good food. Not too fancy. Reasonably priced. Their Sunday Supper is a very good value.

Rosa Mexicano - love their Sangria & guacamole; have enjoyed everything else I've had there.

Atlantic Grill in the old O'Neals space is good.

Compass restaurant on 70th is excellent and has a $35 prix fix menu thats a bargain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Ed's Chowder House. Delicious food, excellent service, and very pleasant ambiance.

They have some good cocktails too - I had something with elderflower syrup and champagne, and my friend really enjoyed her Manhattan. I had the Manhattan clam chowder there another time, but thought it was a bit on the lifeless side.

That's too bad about the Manhattan clam chowder. There's a superior version at Oceana. You can see it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11863391@N03/sets/72157624127309526/

Josephina, just across the street. They used to have a reasonable prix-fixe and they'll get you out in time for the the curtain without feeling rushed

+1 for Josephina. It's our go-to before Linc Cntr. Prix Fixe is $35 (unless it's up a bit from the past couple of years). They're used to getting everyone out on time.

Yes to this. Also PJ Clarkes for great burgers, salads etc. Another is Bistro Cassis on Col near 70th

Ditto for Bar Boulud, especially the charcuterie "degustation" (platter of assorted house-made charcuterie plus a "rack" sampler of hors d'ouevres) - fun to eat and very tasty.
