Midtown -- Radio City Hall -- Dinner/drinks that are good?? HELP!

I'm going to a show at radio city hall on tues and it's my birthday so i'm looking for a place nearby to get dinner/drinks. i live in williamsburg and my favorite place to eat is marlow and sons. OBVIOUSLY it's tough to avoid the tourist trap in midtown but where should I go? it can be a hotel -- just something special. Possibly something weird.
