preserved lemons

does anybody know where i can get preserved lemons in the GTA. i ordered a jar from the states and it cost be mega for the delivery.

St. Lawrence Market - there is a great store specializing in selling etnic foods from all otver the world (downstairs). I got a jar there.

There's a Spanish/Moroccan specialty food place on Mt. Pleasant a couple of stores south of Soudan on the east side. I'm pretty sure you'd get them there.

Store is called Pimenton and they definitely have preserved lemons, I was there on Saturday and there is a big jar of them on the shelf across from the cash.

There's a new middle eastern grocery/take-out in Kensington. They're not on the shelf but just ask and they will sell their homemade ones to you individually.

How were they packed, what size container and how much?
I saw big cans on of lemons on a shelf in the kitchen area of a Morrocan restaurant - smoke easy on Danforth. they should be not to expensive. Maybe theywere brought in from Montrael.
Try finding out who the distributor of "Cedar" products is.

Canned seems unlikely for a citrus product. Glass jarred in various sizes is all I've ever seen. They're never giveaway priced.
