Sunday Brunch - casual dress - Charleston or Folly Island, SC
I would appreciate any recs for a good Sunday brunch in a restaurant that does not require dressing up (to be more specific, shorts and a polo shirt for men, similar for women). We are staying on Folly Island and visiting Charleston. What we are looking for should include seafood and hopefully be around or under twenty dollars, although we wouldn't mind going a bit higher for something really good.

re: Littleman
Lil Mama's has closed too.
I will say I just had brunch again at The Fat Hen last weekend. They do not do bottomless mimosas anymore (BOO), but they offer 10.00 carafes. We had the Creme Brulee stuffed French Toast (yum), Crab Crepe (loads of crab), Quiche special and the Duck Au Gratin.
After 2 Mimosa carafes and a signature drink, our bill was around $95.00(excluding tip).Thought that was more than fair.Go online and get a reservation; they are always busy at brunch!-----

Blossom, Carolina's, Fleet Landing, Poogan's Porch and Magnolia's each serve brunch on Saturday/Sunday. I have no idea about wearing shorts. Call and check on that. I would wear some light slacks and a polo and not worry about it. There's nothing on Folly's Island I would recommend. Blu Restaurant at the Holiday Inn is the best restaurant there but I don't know if they serve brunch. If so I'm sure shorts would be fine and I would imagine there's some kind of brunch since they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call to be sure about shorts.
Fleet Landing would be my suggestion in Charleston for brunch and shorts but again call and be sure. It's waterfront with outdoor dining. I can't imagine shorts not being allowed. Good luck Bon Appetit.

I love brunch at High Cotton. It's a little more upscale, but people are always casual in summer. A little farther away on Sullivan's is Atlanticville, another one of my favorites.
I'm not as familiar with choices at Folly Beach.
