~$50 Prix Fixe Meal Downtown-ish Toronto?
Hello, looking to have a little fun and go on a nice one-time meal. Looking for a 3 course (app, main, dessert) meal for around $50. But open to other suggestions!
Downtown Toronto preferred, but open to other locations if really worth it.
Thanks!
Edit: Pretty open minded to any cuisine.
Without any indication of what type of food you're seeking, I'll just recommend Batifole

Not sure if it's prix fixe, but it won't cost you the farm. Had a great veal steak in "Bourgignon sauce" Tarragon Frites, dessert and wine for around $125 / 2 people.

Definitely try RubyWatchCo!! Great value for what you get. Delicious, three courses plus a cheese course for $45, plus tip and tax.

Been meaning to try Ruby myself, but didn't realize it was so popular. You need to book a week in advance!

Actually popularity must be waning. Early June you needed to book closer to 3 weeks in advance.

Didier and Simple Bistro come to mind. They are both inexpensive prix fixe and both near the St. Clair station. Didier's is around $50 pp if I'm remembering correctly, while Simple's goes for an amazing $30 pp.

Went to Simple Bistro recently and was pleased with the $30 prix fixe. Food was good though perhaps just a touch small for larger eaters. Have to admit I ate quite a bit of bread
