Party for 50, near Montgomeryville

  • 7

I am looking for a restaurant for my son's first b-day party. There will be some kids, but mostly adults. I am looking at either Italian or Asian, reasonably priced. Prefer under $20/pp. BYOB if possible.

So far I have considered Bacco and Lai Lai. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

  1. From the Boot in Ambler! We had my daughters christening there about a year ago, 50 guests. We had the whole downstairs to ourselves. Fabulous food and service, I think the price was just shy of $20/pp. They were BYO then, not sure if they since got their liquor license. I cannot recommend them any more highly.

We LOVE From The Boot! They are no longer BYOB.

Arpeggio might be a good option for this.

As long as it is during the day, they might accommodate. In the evening, they won't take a reservation for more than 10.

            Crazy,

I figured that a birthday party for a 1-year old would be a daytime event. :)

mitch, can you tell I don't have a one year old? :-D

    2. My recommendation would definitely be Mina Cucina Rustica in Spring House. Not sure if they could handle 50, but call Mina to check - 215-641-1180. We recently hosted a small anniversary party for a group of 8. We all had appetizers and entrees and the bill before tip was only $240. It's a small place, but the food, service and ambiance are awesome. We ordered a cake from their sister store/caterer Taste of Italy and it was delicious. You choose the type of cake, icing and filling. Go with the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse icing and french cream filling with strawberries. Decadent!!
